PS: Does anyone have any historical or geneological records for JB Hall, I assume that his link to Hope Lodge would result in a trove of info, thank you

Do you have pass document as to members?
We came from Port Hope and Masonry runs in the family. As does the Orangemen.

As this masonic year draws to the close of my term as Master of Hope Lodge, I would like to express my deepest thanks to everyone who made it a wonderful time that I will always remember.
From our officers and brethren to our visitors from within and without Ontario District and abroad (my cousin) Bro. Karel van de Beek and his wife Gerda from the Netherlands and our many distinguished brothers from Lodges Barns O'Clyde No. 1018, Lodge St. Patrick No. 1309 Old Kilpatrick; St John Dalmuir No., 543; and Lodge Cochno Duntocher No.1034 and their wives from Scotland--I thank you all for making this a special year in Masonry for me personally and the lodge in general.
"Masonry is not a material thing: it is a science of the soul: it is not a creed or doctrine but a universal expression of the Divine Wisdom".
--Manly Hall in The Lost Keys of Freemasonry
---Thankyou! Fraternally yours

I would like to thank all the Brethren and Ladies of your Lodge who made our trip so memorable. The first topic of conversation each time we meet is our visit to Canada.
You may recall I am compiling a magazine on our visit and if any of the Canadian brethren wish to e-mail me their thoughts and some photos that would be really appreciated. Copies will be sent when it is finished. Thank you again. Sincerely and Fraternally, Jim
